These Booking Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) outline the terms and conditions between Serengeti Dream (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the customer (referred to as “you” or “your”) for any services provided by us, including but not limited to tours, safaris, and related travel arrangements.
By booking with Serengeti Dream, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
a. Booking Process
All bookings must be made through our official communication channels (website, phone, or email). Upon booking, you are required to provide accurate personal information, including full names (as per your passport), contact details, and any special requests. A deposit of 30% is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to the start of the trip unless otherwise agreed. b. Confirmation
Once your booking is confirmed, we will provide you with a detailed itinerary and a booking confirmation, outlining the services included in your package. Your booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit and the issuance of a confirmation email by Serengeti Dream. c. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
Bank transfer Credit card payments Mobile money transfers All payment details will be provided at the time of booking.
a. Pricing
All prices listed are per person unless otherwise stated and are in US Dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations, changes in park fees, or other factors beyond our control. Any increase in price will be communicated to you before final payment. b. Inclusions
The trip price typically includes accommodation, meals as specified, park fees, transportation, guides, and activities as outlined in the itinerary. Specific inclusions will be detailed in your booking confirmation and itinerary. c. Exclusions
International flights, visas, travel insurance, optional excursions, alcoholic beverages, and personal expenses are generally not included unless explicitly stated in your itinerary.
a. Cancellation by You
If you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation fees will apply:
60 days or more before the departure date: 10% of the trip cost. 30-59 days before the departure date: 30% of the trip cost. 15-29 days before the departure date: 50% of the trip cost. Less than 15 days before the departure date: 100% of the trip cost (no refund). Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to info@serengetidream.com.
b. Cancellation by Us
In the unlikely event that Serengeti Dream cancels your booking, you will receive a full refund, including your deposit, unless the cancellation was due to circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, political instability, or other force majeure events).
c. Refunds
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 days of cancellation. Refunds will be credited via the same payment method used to make the booking.
a. Changes by You
If you wish to make changes to your confirmed booking (such as modifying the itinerary or dates), please notify us in writing at info@serengetidream.com. While we will do our best to accommodate your requests, changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. b. Changes by Us
We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to the itinerary in cases of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, safety concerns). Any significant changes will be communicated to you in advance.
It is your responsibility to obtain adequate travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, loss of luggage, and other unforeseen incidents. Serengeti Dream is not responsible for any expenses incurred due to lack of travel insurance.
a. Health Requirements
Some activities, such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or certain safaris, may require a reasonable level of physical fitness. Please consult your doctor before booking. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking. Failure to disclose this information may result in cancellation without refund. b. Safety
While we strive to ensure your safety throughout your journey, travel in remote areas and wilderness environments involves inherent risks. You participate at your own risk, and we encourage you to follow the safety instructions of our guides at all times.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport, visa, and any required vaccinations or medical certificates before traveling to Tanzania. Serengeti Dream is not liable for any costs incurred due to failure to obtain the correct travel documents.
Serengeti Dream acts as an agent in organizing transport, accommodation, and other travel services. We are not liable for injury, illness, death, loss, or damage arising from the acts or omissions of third-party service providers. We are not responsible for any delays, deviations, or changes in the itinerary due to natural disasters, political unrest, weather conditions, or any other force majeure events.
If you have any concerns during your trip, please raise them with your guide or contact us directly at info@serengetidream.com. We will do our best to resolve any issues promptly. If your concerns are not satisfactorily addressed, please submit a formal complaint in writing within 30 days of your trip’s conclusion.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
